Breathe

And affirm with me now:

I am not my story. I am not the thoughts that keep me sick. I am not my disease or distress, nor am I the belief that there is something wrong with me. There is a life out there that is inviting you to step forth into and become the radiant gift that you are. As you open your heart, you make yourself available to receive the blessings that are waiting for you.

If you are struggling with a relationship or your weight, if you have ever been told you had an eating disorder, or an addiction to anything other than that which brought you tremendous joy, you may enjoy my new blog

This is my account of recovery, what works for me as well as inspiration to move you beyond your story and awaken to the light within. If I can find it, I guarantee you that anyone can! There have been moments in my life where I felt so miserable and so treated myself as if this life was not worth living, and then God showed up to love me through and towards a more radiant life.

Today is not perfect. Nor am I ever where I think I should be–and that’s because no longer am I in control. As soon as I think I am, I disillusion myself and end up further away from where I want to be!

I was reminded today by a dear friend in recovery to breathe. That’s right–take a moment and breathe as if your life depends on it. Take the next few breaths into your body simply because you are alive in the here and now. What if your only responsibility was to breathe right now. What if everything before this moment led you to take this breath so that you could feel alive right now. And then again and again, breathing in, breathing out. Living life, breathing life. Moving towards life, feeling better every day in every way.

Breathe your way to the life you want. Live from the inside out, and your breath is the guide to awaken you to who you are at your core. You may have gone so far away from you that you forgot how it feels to just breathe and allow yourself to breathe since you were so busy doing, being and having someone else’s life.
“Life is like a gift they say, wrapped up for us every day” says Sarah McLachlan, reminding us of the power to shift our perspective to the blessings in our life as we awaken each morning. So when you wake up tomorrow, before you get out of bed, take some time to chew on your breath for a few moments. Breathe deeply and imagine yourself breathing throughout your day. Connect with the feel good energy inside of you and visualize yourself sending it out there to every one you see, feel or think about on this day. Feel gratitude for the people in your life, and breathe in the sensation of gratefulness.

May you be blessed beyond belief by each breath you take from this moment on and invite each breath in as if it were the only breath and each breath out with an attitude of gratitude. You are precious and this life is being lived through you. It is an honor to be a guide for you on this journey and I look forward to creating radiance as you keep coming back to be inspired to awaken to the light within and connect on a deeper level with the feel good energy within and all around you.

Namaste,

Waller
