Please Come Home

Please come home. Please come home.
Find the place where your feet know where to walk
And follow your own trail home.

Please come home. Please come home into your own body,
Your own vessel, your own earth.
Please come home into each and every cell,
And fully into the space that surrounds you.

Please come home. Please come home to trusting yourself,
And your instincts and your ways and your knowings,
And even the particular quirks of your personality.
Please come home. Please come home and once you are
firmly there,
Please stay awhile and come to a deep rest within.
Please treasure your home. Please love and embrace your home.
Please get a deep, deep sense of what it’s like to be truly home.

Please come home. Please come home.
And when you’re really, really ready,
And there’s a detectable urge on the outbreath, then please
come out.
Please come home and please come forward.
Please express who you are to us, and please trust us
To see you and hear you and touch you
And recognize you as best we can.

Please come home. Please come home and let us know
All the nooks and crannies that are calling to be seen.
Please come home, and let us know the More
That is there that wants to come out.

Please come home. Please come home.
For you belong here now. You belong among us.
Please inhabit your place fully so we can learn from you,
From your voice and your ways and your presence.

Please come home. Please come home.
And when you feel yourself home, please welcome us too,
For we too forget that we belong and are welcome,
And that we are called to express fully who we are.

Please come home. Please come home.
You and you and you and me.

Please come home. Please come home.
Thank you, Earth, for welcoming us.
And thank you touch of eyes and ears and skin,
Touch of love for welcoming us.

May we wake up and remember who we truly are.

Please come home.
Please come home.
Please come home.

Enough said. This sums it up. Keep coming back and reading this and feel all of your worries wash away.
What can you do today that you have been putting off? What God quality is waiting to express itself as you wait for somebody to clean up after you or come save you? How can you take up space in this world?
For me, it is through teaching, using my voice and writing that I am able to “come home”. I feel more grounded in my body on days when I teach yoga. On my days off, I find it necessary to have fun with friends and relax with a walk in nature or getting on my yoga mat to pray. This is the law of circulation–putting out into the world that which you are looking to receive. If it is fun you want to have, invite a friend along for a swim or a day in the park. If you are worried about your weight, try cooking or sharing meals with other people. Learn to give your gifts away. If you see someone that might not have what you know, see your judgement of them as a burning desire to teach what you have inside of you. However you decide to teach and communicate the good inside of you is up to you.
Our nation is crying out for help. Symptoms of disorder are showing up in the real estate market, gas prices and a health crisis. What are you doing to feed the collective consciousness? What are you doing to create disorder? To create radiance? What can you do to transcend the fear you may have of not being able to afford gas, of losing money in your investments, of being the wrong size in your body? How can you use your own process as a catalyst to use your voice to create momentum, to help other people through a burden that you may have overcome?
Please come home and be the change you wish to see in the world. Please come home and express the radiance that is waiting just beneath the surface of your thoughts, urging you into full self-expression.
